Volunteers Contribute Record Number of Hours in 2015

Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) reached a record number of volunteer hours this past year. In 2015, 1,297 CVSR volunteers contributed a record 90,848 hours of service – which is the equivalent of approximately 44 full-time employees.

As a partner of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, CVSR submits volunteers’ hours over to the park. CVSR volunteers are considered to be National Park Service volunteers and receive all privileges that are available to any NPS volunteer.

At CVSR, we are proud to have a wonderful group of volunteers who truly support our commitment to provide an excellent experience and cherished memories to visitors of the railroad and of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
