Bike Aboard! Bring your bicycle on Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad starting April 1

PENINSULA, Ohio – The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad will resume its Bike Aboard service Saturday, April 1.

The service enables cyclists and hikers who use the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail to ride the train back to their beginning destination for $3. The ticket is valid for one, one-way trip per day.

The Bike Aboard service will be available during the regular train schedule on Saturdays and Sundays in April, and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays starting in May. Passengers who use the service are encouraged to arrive at the station of their choice 10 minutes before the train’s scheduled departure time.

“Bike Aboard is a great way for locals and visitors to enjoy the Towpath,” Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad President and CEO Joe Mazur said in a release.
