Explore Cuyahoga Valley National Park by Train
Warm-up and climb aboard the Winter Flyer! Sit back as the train weaves through Cuyahoga Valley and races along with the rushing Cuyahoga River. This excursion is the perfect way to still explore and enjoy scenic views during Ohio’s winter months as you pass snow-dusted trees and dreamy landscapes.
During February, March and April on Saturdays, the Flyer excursion will be a 1 hour and 15-minute round trip through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Passengers will board at our Peninsula Depot and take a round trip north and back to Peninsula.
The Winter Flyer is free and only open to Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad members at this time. Not a member? No problem! Become a member and receive your membership ID number in two business days.
Members must secure tickets in advance to ride the Winter Flyer. All members can secure one section of 4 or 6 tickets per day. Make sure to have your member ID ready to secure your tickets. Tickets are subject to availability.

COVID-19 Safety
Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad excursions and railroad facilities are operating with strict stringent safety practices and procedures including more frequent sanitation, the wearing of masks, implementing physical distancing and operating trains at no more than 50% capacity to improve employee, volunteer and guest safety.

Service Animal Policy
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), CVSR does accommodate service animals on board the train. Only dogs that are trained service animals will be admitted to board the CVSR train. Pets and other animals not considered service animals will, under no circumstances, be allowed to board.
