Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad to offer Valentine’s Day train rides in February

PENINSULA, Ohio – If your plans for celebrating Valentine’s Day include beer, wine or family fun, the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroadhas you covered this year.

On Feb. 9, the railroad will host the Family Fun Loop: Valentine’s Day Crafts excursion. The family friendly excursion features a 90-minute train ride through Cuyahoga Valley National Park and provides riders with supplies to make heart-shaped window art. The ride departs at 9:40 a.m. from Peninsula Station. Tickets are $20 per person.

Also on Feb. 9, the railroad will host the Ales on Rails: Rhinegeist is for Romantics excursion featuring five beer samples, light appetizers and a take-home glass. The train departs at 7:30 p.m. from Rockside Station in Independence. Tickets range from $50 to $95 per person.
