These short, interactive train rides are perfect for the whole family. If your little ones love princesses and superheroes, we recommend Royalty on the Rails and Superheroes on the Train. We also offer build-your-own stuffed animal workshops, holiday crafts, cookie-decorating rides and more!
All Aboard Family Friendly Rides
At a Glance:
- 1.5-2 hour round trip excursions
- afternoon and some evening departures
- Tickets in groups of four range from $60-$140 and groups of six range from $90-$210, depending on program
- Children 3 and up need a ticket. Children under the age of 3 do not need a ticket but must sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap.
Please note: Tickets must be purchased in groups of four or six due to our COVID-19 protocols.

One of CVSR’s knowledgeable volunteers will teach you about our trains, the history of this form of transportation and what nature lives within the park. This educational experience for young children will include interactive activities for each table. Hop onboard and see the park from a different view.
