Hidden art uncovered, restored on Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

A work of art hidden under carpet and glue was uncovered by Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad volunteers who were restoring the Saint Lucie Sound rail car, according to an article by our media affiliate Akron Beacon Journal.
A mural depicting Seminole Indians was discovered under thick glue and carpeting along the side of the curved bar on the rail car, the articlesaid.
Officials from Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad believe the artwork dates back to 1946 and was covered up in the 1980s when a bar was extended and refurbished, according to the article.
