Join us for a heartfelt appreciation of duty and service
Depart from the Akron Depot and embark on a memorable 2-hour excursion. As you journey through the picturesque Cuyahoga Valley National Park, spanning 26 miles of track, take in the beauty of nature while honoring those who have bravely served our nation. This special train ride is exclusively for veterans and up to three family members, and it’s absolutely free!

Seating Options
Each ticket includes a 2-hour round-trip train ride. Each ticket is valid for one (1) round trip.
Coach Seating
Passengers requiring wheelchair/handicap access should select “ADA Coach” seating during seat selection.

Dome Car Seating
All passengers ages 3 and up need a ticket. Children 2 and under do not need a ticket but must sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap throughout the trip.

Follow along the route with the CVSR Train Tracker app! Download the app for free on Google Play or the Apple Store. This app allows you to follow the train, view the train’s current speed, heading and even listen to audio clips.
Service Animal Policy
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), CVSR does accommodate service animals on board the train. Only dogs that are trained service animals will be admitted to board the CVSR train. Pets and other animals not considered service animals will, under no circumstances, be allowed to board.
