North Pole Adventure™ COVID-19 Vaccine & Test Policy

Patrons 12 and older will be required to present proof that they are fully vaccinated or provide a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within six hours of their scheduled North Pole Adventure™ ride. At this time, we will be accepting COVID-19 rapid tests that send verification of your results to your phone/email. If you do not have the verification sent to your phone/email, we will not accept the test. In addition to your proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test, you will need your driver’s license or another form of ID. The name on the test or vaccination MUST match the name on the ID.

When do I show proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test?

You and everyone in your party 12 years and older will need to show proof when you arrive at the station to check in. In addition to your proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test, you will need your driver’s license or another form of ID. The name on the test or vaccination MUST match the name on the ID.

How do I show proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test?

You can show your proof by either showing a photo, paper or electronic version.

If you choose to show your proof by photo or an electronic version, the photo must be clear enough to see all the information on the vaccination card or the document that shows your negative COVID-19 test. If we are unable to read the information in the photo, this form will not be accepted, and entry will not be allowed onto the train.

What do you mean when you say fully vaccinated?

When we say you must be fully vaccinated this means you have received your one dose of Johnson & Johnson or your two doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.

What if I am unable to get the vaccine due to a medical condition or religious reason?

Individuals with medical conditions or religious reasons for not getting vaccinated must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the scheduled ride or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within six hours of their scheduled ride.

Please note that over-the-counter tests will not be accepted as proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

What if I forget my proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test?

Unfortunately, you will not be allowed aboard the train and refunds will not be provided in this situation, so please don’t forget!

Will I still need to wear a mask?

Yes, CVSR falls under the jurisdiction of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and masks are required when at boarding stations, in all depots and aboard the train at all times except when eating or drinking, replacing the mask between sips and bites.

What if I have COVID-19 and can’t attend?

If you are unable to make your scheduled ride due to COVID-19, our customer service team will assist you in rescheduling to another date. If another date is not available, our customer service team will work with you to find a resolution.

Will staff and volunteers on the train be vaccinated?
