Explore near Rockside Station with a Coach All Day Pass!
Looking to explore Independence? Purchase a coach ticket which acts as an all-day pass, allowing you to deboard and reboard the train throughout the day. With a coach ticket you can board at Peninsula or Akron Northside Station and deboard at Rockside Station to explore the area.
We know planning your trip can be difficult with so many options, so we’ve mapped out a timeline to help you plan! The timeline below reflects the June through August National Park Scenic schedule which runs two loops on Wednesday and Thursday, and three loops on Friday through Sunday. Click below for things to do while you’re in Independence. We recommend checking out Yours Truly for lunch, Malley’s Chocolate for ice cream, and if you’re able walking to the Canal Exploration Center (1.75 miles). We would like to advise that some attractions farther west of the station require walking alongside a busy road.
