Santa Needs YOU for North Pole Adventure™

Volunteering your time and holiday spirit is one of the most generous ways to give to others this holiday season. . . plus it ensures a spot on the “nice” list! Since there is plenty to do and a variety of helpers needed, the “Boss” sent of these job descriptions to pique your interests.

ELF

Plays a crucial role in creating a magical and enchanting experience. Main responsibilities include spreading cheer, laughter, and happiness. Engages with guests and leads festive songs and dance.

NORTH POLE POSTMASTER

Responsible for gathering  precious letters to Santa and delivering them to the North Pole. As the guardian of children’s heartfelt wishes, maintaining confidentiality is of utmost importance!

SANTA

Helps the “original” Santa Claus bring joy and happiness to children of all ages. Visits with guests and listen to their wish lists. Poses for photos and videos. Must maintain a clean and tidy appearance by wearing the classic red suit and grooming your beard to perfection.

TRAININGS

All on-train program volunteers including first-time Santas and Trainmen are required to attend one training session.

On-train Volunteers (Elves, North Pole Postmasters, North Pole Conductors,Trainmen)
October 11, 17, 25 and 31 at 6:30 pm – Fitzwater Train Yard
October 14 and 28 at 10 am – Fitzwater Train Yard
October 10 at 1 pm; and October 18 and 24 at 5 pm – Zoom Meeting
A dress rehearsal is scheduled on Friday, November 3, departing Akron Northside at 5 pm.

Santa specific training is scheduled on
October 12 and 26 at 10 am. – Fitzwater Train Yard
October 14 and 28 at 9 am. – Fitzwater Train Yard

The trainings will cover the overall program, various techniques to effectively engage passengers, and logistics.
