Support the Railroad this Holiday Season

For generations, families have been making memories on Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.  2017 marks CVSR’s 45th anniversary since its founding, and CVSR has transformed from a commuter train transporting passengers from Cleveland to Hale Farm & Village into one of America’s longest and most scenic tourist railroads.

A key part of CVSR’s mission as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is maintaining and preserving our historic fleet of railroad cars.  With an average age of 60+ years, CVSR’s fleet of 39 locomotives, cars and caboose is vintage stock and represents the post-war streamlined railroad era from the late 40’s to early 60’s.

As caretakers of a rapidly disappearing mode of transportation, donor support plays an integral role in sustaining this great legacy of American history.  Heritage rail equipment requires regular maintenance, improvements and necessary upgrades to sustain its safety and integrity.

We invite you to make a gift to ensure these amazing machines continue to provide access for the community to enjoy the miles of trails within Cuyahoga Valley National Park, children to experience hands-on education, or, for others, to experience the magic of the holiday season aboard THE POLAR EXPRESS™.

Visit CVSR’s Annual Fund to make your 100% tax-deductible donation.
