It’s officially spring in Cleveland! And with that comes some more free time for the kids with schools out and spring break upon us.

There are plenty of things to do for kids and families in Cleveland and the surrounding areas, and you might not have to spend a bunch of money either!

I-X Indoor Amusement Park

The park, Cleveland’s springtime entertainment since 1989, is jam-packed with over twenty acres of rides, games, food and attractions all under one roof. There’s no better place to blow off some steam, get the kids out of the house, enjoy a funnel cake and make some great memories. The expanded Beach Street will be the welcome area for more than 150,000+ attendees and offers a variety of attractions featuring sea lions, magicians, jugglers, street performers and more. Check out Vroom! A Car Adventure at Great Lakes Science Center

From a Tot Garage area for the youngest tinkerers to an exhibit that demonstrates how self-driving cars are able to see using a LIDAR sensor, Vroom! is sure to get every guest’s curiosity racing. Visit Vroom! at the Great Lakes Science Center now through September 2!

Visit the Cleveland Metroparks

With 18 reservations with over 100 hiking trails, eight lakefront parks, 5 nature centers, and endless opportunities to learn and connect with outdoors, the Cleveland Metroparks are the perfet local escape! Our favorites include Hinckley Reservation, Brecksville Reservation, and Rocky River Reservation.

Shop at Pinecrest and Crocker Park

Take your shopping outdoors to soak up the sun! If you are on the east side, Pinecrest is the perfect place to explore new and local business. On the west side, Crocker Park has been a staple for years, but they are constantly updating the shopping experience, including the brand new Market District!

Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

If you’ve missed the green on the trees as much as we did, where else to see everything come back into bloom than Ohio’s own National Park? The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad provides an excellent view of the natural scenery and wildlife of the park and an opportunity to learn about the history of the railroad in the area! Whether you are looking for a family trip or a company outing, CVSR has something for everyone…
