CVSR Launches New Summer Speakers Series

Starting on June 6th, CVSR will offer a new Speaker Series every Tuesday. Speakers from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Summit Metro Parks, Akron Waterways Renewed, local historians, and Countryside Conservancy will provide context to everything riders might see from the train.

Learn about the plants in the park, the history of the Valley and the importance of the Cuyahoga River in the region’s history. Each Tuesday out Peninsula, passengers will have the opportunity to become insiders on what’s what with the Cuyahoga Valley. The train will depart at 9:50 a.m. from Peninsula Station and return at 11:35 a.m.  Tickets are $10 per person.

Concessions and souvenirs are available in the café care.   All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Recommended for passengers 14 and older.
