Emerging Brews: Hoppin’ Frog

Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is thrilled to welcome Hoppin’ Frog as our featured brewery for Emerging Brews. Starting over a year ago, Emerging Brews is a smaller-scale beer tasting event which allows guests to sample beer from a local brewery.

“We bring craft beer enthusiasts to one place, providing a platform for brewery staff to engage with more people in an intimate setting,” says Director of Events, Danny Napolitano, “It’s different from Ales on Rails in that it’s only in one to two train cars, allowing for more interaction with the brewing staff to give you details on the beer selections.”

Emerging Brews featuring Hoppin’ Frog is on October 5, 2018. Guests will have the opportunity to sample four beer selections from Akron’s Hoppin’ Frog brewery and ride through Cuyahoga Valley National Park at sunset. The two-hour train ride also includes four light appetizers and a commemorative glass! Guests can choose from two seating options in the upper dome or in first class. Team members from Hoppin’ Frog brewery will be on board to share information about the beers and the brewery.

The train departs at 7:30 p.m. from Akron Northside Station. Tickets start at $50 per person.
