Upcoming Ales on Rails™ Excursions

This fall, venture onto new tracks and try something new on one of our Ales on Rails™ excursions! Sit back and relax as the train weaves through Cuyahoga Valley National Park during chilly autumn nights. On board, passengers will be served six samples of beer, along with light, paired appetizers. Every passenger receives a commemorative beer glass! Guests can expect the train ride to last two hours.

New in October: seating in our dome cars!

BrewDog USA | October 13

Climb aboard for this two hour ride as you sip on six beer selections from BrewDog USA. BrewDog is a Scottish based brewery, but just recently moved to Columbus where they have a brand new brewhouse and taproom. One of their most popular beers, Punk IPA, will be served during the excursion. Other beers include Elvis Juice (American IPA), Hazy Jane (New England IPA), Lost Lager (Dry Hopped Pilsner), Jet Black Heart (Oatmeal Milk Stout) and Native Son (West Coast Double IPA). The train departs at 7:30 p.m. out of Rockside Station in Independence. Tickets range from $65 to $85 per person.

Germany v. Belgium | October 20

It’s the battle between Germany and Belgium to see who has the best beer, and you get to choose! On board, passengers will sample a fall classic: Hofbrau Okroberfest. Other beers include Erdinger Hefe Weizen (Germany), Butburger Original (Germany), Orval Trapist (Beligium), Westmalle Double (Belgium) and Paulaner Salvator’s Double Bock (Germany). The train departs at 7:30 p.m. out of Rockside Station in Independence. Tickets range from $65 to $85 per person.

Holiday Brews | November 3

It’s never to early to get in the Holiday spirit! Enjoy six holiday beer selections (menu TBD), as you weave through Cuyahoga Valley National Park! The train departs at 2 p.m. out of Rockside Station in Independence. Tickets range from $65 to $85 per person.

Ales on Rails™ is only for passengers ages 21+. Passengers without a valid ID will not be permitted to board. Passengers may purchase other beverages and snacks form the concession car at an additional cost. We accept cash and credit cards except American Express.
