Upcoming Grape Escape Excursions

This fall join us on board for one of our Grape Escape excursions! During October and November, guests aboard our premier wine tasting excursions will receive six samples of wine, each paired with a light appetizer. Sit back and watch the changing colors of autumn as you weave through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Every passenger receives a commemorative wine glass! Guests can expect the train ride to last two hours.

Autumn Reds | October 27

Climb aboard for this two hour ride as you sip on six red wine selections. The color of the wine matches perfectly with the changing colors of the leaves! Wines served include: Charles Smith Boom Boom Syrah, Gnarly Head 1924 Double Black Red, Trapiche Oak Cask Malbec, 59 Prime Cabernet Sauvignon, Brazin Zinfandel, and Chateau Tour de By. While being served, passengers will hear a description of the wine and where to purchase it. This excursion departs at 7:30 p.m. from Rockside Station in Independence. Tickets range from $80 to $95, with seating options in our dome cars!

Screwcaps for the Holidays | November 4

Make the season bright and classy without corkscrews! Wines served include Acrobat Pinot Gris, Imagery Chardonnay, Meiomi Rose, Garnet Pinot Noir, Seven Daughters Cabernet and Roth Alexander Valley Sauvignon Blanc. This excursion departs at 2 p.m. out of Rockside Station in Independence. Tickets range from $80 to $95, with seating options in our dome cars!

Grape Escape is only for passengers ages 21+. Passengers without a valid ID will not be permitted to board. Passengers may purchase other beverages and snacks form the concession car at an additional cost. We accept cash and credit cards except American Express.
