Helpful Tips When Purchasing North Pole Adventure™ Tickets

The North Pole Adventure™ presented by Meijer is one of the most magical holiday traditions in Northeast Ohio, and demand for tickets is always high. To help make the ticketing process as smooth as possible, here are a few tips before you buy:

1. Review Dates, Seating and Departure Times in Advance: Before ticket sales open, visit the calendar on the CVSR website to review the event calendar and seating options. Having a few possible dates in mind will save time once you’re ready to order.

2. Understand Your Seating Choices: No matter where you sit, every child will have the opportunity to see the North Pole.

  • Coach Seating: Two seats face two seats, perfect for families with younger children who want to sit together.
  • Table Seating: Great for small groups or families who prefer a table setting for snacks and activities.
  • Lounge Seating: Cozy seats located in the lower level of a dome car. Larger groups and families.
  • First Class Seating: Table seating in an upscale car.
  • Dome Seating: Located on the upper level of select cars, dome seats offer panoramic views and an extra-special experience for older children and adults.

3. Consider What Works Best for Your Family

  • Families with toddlers or young children often prefer coach seating, since it’s easier for kids to move around.
  • Table seating is best for groups who like to face each other and enjoy a cozy setup.
  • Dome seating is a premium option—ideal if you want a breathtaking view and don’t mind stairs.

4. Be Patient During the Ordering Process: When tickets go on sale, the website may be busy. If your first choice of date or seating isn’t available, don’t worry—tickets typically don’t sell out on the first day. Our phone lines will be very busy on October 7.

If you have questions and can’t get through right away, feel free to leave us a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Do not refresh the page when you are in the virtual queue or you will lose your place in line and delay your purchase.

We recommend, when possible, to purchase your tickets on a computer or tablet, verses a smartphone. The process is much easier on a larger screen.

5. Order at Less Busy Times: The busiest time for ticket sales is right when they open. If you’d like a smoother experience, consider ordering between 1:00 pm -4:00 pm or after 9:00 pm

6. Have a Backup Plan: Because the event is popular, it’s helpful to have a second-choice date or seating option in mind before you log in.

7. Take Your Time & Enjoy the Process: Remember, no matter where you sit or what date you chose,  the North Pole Adventure™ will be a magical holiday experience for your family
