Starting in July 2025, Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is moving its membership into the Etix platform. Members will receive a new membership ID number instantly in your confirmation email, and will be able to request member tickets right away. How can I purchase a membership?
There are a couple ways you can purchase a membership! You can join online at www.cvsr.org/membership or call the Membership Office at (234) 759-0093 to join over the phone!
When can I start using my membership?
Right away! Once you purchase your membership through Etix, you’ll receive a confirmation email that includes your Membership ID. You can use it immediately to request your member tickets. Please note, you will only receive an electronic confirmation—no paper materials will be mailed.
Why is my membership ID showing as invalid?
If your Membership ID is showing as invalid, there could be a few possible reasons. First, make sure you are selecting the correct ticket type associated with your membership level. For example, Companion Members are eligible for Coach tickets only, while Gold Members receive Dome tickets. Another common issue is attempting to reserve National Park Scenic tickets for a date beyond your membership expiration. For instance, if your membership expires on August 31, you will not be able to request tickets taking place after that date. Please also note that all tickets are subject to availability.
How can I log into my Account Manager to see my ticket orders?
You can view past ticket orders, manage your auto-renewal settings, and review your membership information through the Etix Account Manager.
To log in, visit the Etix Account Manager and enter your username and password. In most cases, your username is the email address you used to purchase your membership. If you’ve forgotten your password or haven’t set one up yet, click the blue link that says “Having trouble logging in?” next to the password box. At the top of the next page, enter your username under the “Forgot your password” section and click “Reset Password.” You’ll receive an email with a temporary password (which expires in 10 minutes) and instructions for logging in. Once you’re in, you’ll be able to manage your tickets and account details with ease.

How do I request and use my National Park Scenic tickets?
Member tickets are flexible! You can use your ticket allotment however it works best for you. For example, if you’re a Companion-level member, you might use all 8 tickets at once to bring family and friends, or just use 2 tickets for a smaller outing another day. You choose how many to use each time and who you’d like to bring along.
You can request your tickets online or in person by showing your CVSR Membership card at the ticket station. Tickets are subject to availability.

Membership tickets are valid for any regularly scheduled National Park Scenic excursion, as long as they are used before your membership expires. Tickets do not roll over, they cannot be used for special events or upgraded to other ticket classes.
I don't have a smart phone. Can I get a physical membership card?
Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad has moved to digital membership cards, which can now conveniently store their digital card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Physical membership cards are no longer issued, however if you prefer a printed copy, you may download and print the card from your membership confirmation email. Need help? Can I purchase a CVSR Membership as a gift?
Yes! CVSR memberships make great gifts and can be purchased for someone else. Simply forward the confirmation email to the recipient so they have access to their membership details. Please note, the membership becomes active immediately upon purchase. All membership materials are digital, as Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad now uses digital membership cards.
