Explore Ohio's National Park by Train

Sit back and relax on this scenic train ride through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. On board, you will see bald eagle nests, the rushing Cuyahoga River and historical landmarks. You can also stop and get off at the Boston Mill Visitor Center, the historic village of Peninsula or local attractions.

Seating is in a table car with dining tables and chairs.  Seats are assigned.

Coach

Coach All-Day Pass (Available starting in May)

Price per ticket: $15 adult | $10 child (Ages 3-12)
Seating is in a coach car. Seats are in groups of four with seats that face each other. Seating is not assigned. Passengers are entitled to one seat per ticket.

The Edu-trainment Car

Price per ticket: Free admission with the purchase of any National Park Scenic Ticket!
The Edu-trainment Car is CVSR’s newest addition to its fleet. As part of CVSR’s capital campaign, this recently-renovated car provides interactive exhibits, programming and activities for children and families.

First Class Ticket

Seating in the comfortably padded interior of the lower level of the dome car. Seating is assigned. Seats are sold individually from block sections of four (two seats facing two seats). Each section features a table. *Please note: This car is not ADA accessible and not recommended for passengers with mobility issues.

Upper Dome Ticket

Price per ticket: $28 adult | $23 child (Ages 3-12)
Seating in one of our upper dome observation cars. Passengers experience a bird’s-eye-view of the National Park under a panoramic, glass enclosure. Seating is assigned and chosen from block sections of four, with two seats facing two seats. Each section offers a table. *Please note: This car is not ADA accessible and not recommended for passengers with mobility issues. It does require walking through other cars.

Seating in the comfortably padded interior lounge section. Seating is assigned.

Executive Car

Executive Ticket

Price per ticket: $35 adult | $30 child (Ages 3-12)
Seating in our Saint Lucie Sound lounge car. This car offers comfortable padded seats and a spacious lounge area. Seating is assigned. Ticket includes round trip train ride, choice of coffee or bottled water and one muffin per passenger.*Please note: This car is not ADA accessible and not recommended for passengers with mobility issues. It does require walking through other cars. 

Service Animal Policy

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), CVSR does accommodate service animals on board the train. Only dogs that are trained service animals will be admitted to board the CVSR train. Pets and other animals not considered service animals will, under no circumstances, be allowed to board. Discounts and Member Tickets

Senior Citizen Discount 

Passengers that are ages 55 and older receive a $2 off on an adult coach ticket price on the National Park Scenic train on weekdays (Wednesday – Friday) between June and September. Discount only applies to coach scenic tickets.

Members Ride Free

CVSR members at the Sectionhand level and above receive complimentary National Park Scenic tickets. Tickets must be reserved in advance by filling out the ticket request form or calling customer service at (330) 439-5708.

Currently, we are unable to honor requests for tickets. Please check back soon for an announcement regarding our on-sale dates for events in October 2020 and beyond.

Military Discount

Active military, veterans and first responders receive free coach tickets on any regularly-scheduled National Park Scenic train on Thursdays between June and September. There is also a $2 off military discount for any day of the week between June and September. Discounts can only be redeemed at the main boarding stations at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
