Get ready to explore the beauty of the Cuyahoga Valley like never before through the eyes of passionate, experienced photographers who are eager to help you sharpen your skills and see the landscape in a whole new way.
Lauren Cant is a Cleveland, Ohio-based photographer with more than a decade of experience behind the lens. A lifelong lover of the outdoors, Lauren has been hiking the Cuyahoga Valley trails since childhood, developing a deep appreciation for its wildlife and ever-changing scenery. She has led photography workshops for all ages, from beginners to seasoned hobbyists. Lauren is just as passionate about teaching photography as she is about practicing it, making her the perfect guide to help you build confidence and capture meaningful moments.
Joining her is Stephan Thomas, an avid train and nature photographer with an expansive portfolio that showcases the powerful connection between landscape, motion, and light. His work highlights both the beauty of the railroad and the surrounding natural environment, offering guests a unique perspective and inspiration for their own photography.
Together, Lauren and Stephan will guide you through techniques, composition tips, and creative ways to frame the world around you, whether you're using a professional camera or simply your phone.
Bring your camera or cell phone and get ready to learn, explore, and create. Lunch included
This experience is made possible through the generous support of a Cuyahoga Arts & Culture Grant.
