Santa has a job for everyone!! Families, school groups, community organizations. .. anyone wanting to help spread a little holiday cheer. Check out all the opportunities below.
On-Train Volunteers
North Pole Postmaster: Step into the role of Santa’s most trusted mail carrier! You'll walk through the train cars, gather letters from the children with a twinkle in your eye and a smile that says, "Your letter is on its way to the big guy!"
North Pole Conductor: Be the face of the North Pole magic as passengers arrive at the stations! You’ll visit each car throughout the journey, spreading festive joy, sharing stories, and making every rider feel like they’re part of something truly special.
Trainman of Christmas: The Conductor’s right-hand helper, you’re essential in making sure everything runs smoothly. Help passengers board and find their seats, and assist the Leaders and Helpers as needed. Your expertise ensures that the magic unfolds without a hitch.
Santa Claus: The star of the show! Board the train at the Peninsula Depot and bring Christmas to life. Stroll through the train cars, greet passengers with a warm “Ho Ho Ho!”, take pictures, chat with the children, and hand small gifts. Don’t have your Santa suit? No problem, we’ll have one waiting for you!
Off-Train Volunteers
North Pole First Aid Elves: Lend a helping hand to CVSR Safety Staff in the event of any holiday mishaps. You’re the guardians of health and happiness, ready to step in if needed.
North Pole Pedestrian Patrol: You’re the keepers of Santa’s secret workshop! Make sure no curious feet wander into the North Pole while the trains are in the station. Your vigilance ensures that the magic stays behind the scenes until it’s time to shine!
Santa’s North Pole Helpers: Dress up in your most festive elf attire and bring the North Pole to life! Gather in Peninsula, ready to receive your special instructions and a safety briefing. Once the train arrives, you’ll create a magical experience for all, moving in a merry dance so every train car can see the elves at work. The night wraps up when the final train departs, but the joy you spread will last all season!
