Get Ready for North Pole Adventure™ Tickets!
It’s almost time for North Pole Adventure™ presented by Meijer ticket day! It’s our MOST popular day for tickets, and while Santa, the elves and CVSR staff and volunteers are busy at the North Pole, we wanted to share some of our tips for getting your preferred seats.
North Pole Adventure Ticket On Sale: September 29th, 2026 at 9AM
Early Access
The easiest way to get your preferred tickets is to secure them BEFORE THEY GO ON SALE to the public. Early Access for CVSR Members is underway, and continues until September 29th, 2026. Access to your membership is as quick as a confirmation email – you’ll get the code to purchase tickets right away! – and you’ll also receive National Park Scenic tickets good to ride any time this fall or into next year, discounts, exclusive events and MORE.

Seating Info:
Coach seats are set up front facing in rows that seat 2 people.
Table cars are arranged in 4 seats around a table facing each other. If you book 2 seats at a table, you may share a table with the ticketholders of the other 2 seats.
ADA Car:
North Pole Adventure™ presented by Meijer includes an ADA accessible car on a first come, first served ticketing basis. For more information on how to secure ADA seats, please contact XXXXXX.
Confirm Your Details:
How many seats do you need together? Confirm with family and friends if they’ll be joining you so you know how many you’ll need before you get into booking. Review cars for seat configurations so you know your group will fit in the railcar you select ahead of time.
Create a list of preferred dates and times, and have a few options ready. Weekends and early seatings are our MOST popular, and will sell out first. If your heart’s set on a Dome Car experience, see if there’s a weekday or 8PM ride that works for your schedule, too!
Day Of Sale:
Tickets are HELD in your cart for a limited time while you check out for a fair shopping experience. However, this means seats that may look available during car selection may no longer be there once you get to checkout, as other folks may also be in the check-out process.
On the flip side, seats may become available again as others review their ticketing options and tickets are released from their shopping carts. If you don’t see the seats you want, check other times, railcars, or come back later to review what’s available after the initial rush.
Step-By-Step:
Step 1: Visit CVSR.org and click on Book Tickets on our homepage.
Step 2: Choose your desired date. We will select Fri., Nov. 27th for example.
Step 3: Click on your date again and the drop down tab to select the time slot.
Step 4: Select your class. We will choose First Class as an example.
Step 5: Drag your cursor over the seats you want to select. A pop-up will appear. Select your seats.
Step 6: After you’re done selecting your seats, click on the “Add Tickets” button to actually confirm your selection.
Step 7: A pop up window will appear. Choose whether you’d like to add the NPA package.
Step 8: Verify everything is correct. Choose your delivery and payment methods. Click continue when finished.
Step 9: A pop-up will appear if you’ll have kids under 2 years old with you; select yes or no.
Step 10: You’ll be directed to the payment page to enter your card information. You’ll also be asked some questions. Check the appropiate boxes and click purchase. You’re done!

We know ticket day can be a lot, and we want to help. If you want to avoid the rush and are more flexible with your seats, or you don’t find what you’re looking for that morning, sign up for our North Pole Adventure TICKET TRACKER e-mails.
After the rush, we’ll pull frequent lists of dates, times and railcars that have seats STILL available and email those on our TICKET TRACKER first, so you can jump in and grab those seats right away. Plus, if any additional seats or cars are released during the season, we’ll notify TICKET TRACKERS first!
