What is the North Pole Adventure?
The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) North Pole Adventure is an unforgettable family-friendly experience full of cheerful holiday fun for all ages. During this immersive 90-minute event, parents and children will enjoy milk and cookies, meet Christmas elves, write letters to Santa, and even receive a surprise visit from the man in red himself! Festively themed train cars, nostalgic decorations, and a stress-free ride with onboard restrooms make the North Pole Adventure a magical holiday tradition your family will cherish. This year, CVSR will donate $5 from every North Pole Adventure ticket sold through December 22 to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank as part of our "Ride for a Reason" campaign.
A Magical Journey Awaits
As you board, prepare to be whisked away on a trip filled with joy and holiday spirit. Each car will be decorated with a different Christmas theme—Comfy & Cozy, Santa’s Workshop, Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, Snowy Escape, Gingerbread Village, Nutcracker, Candy Cane Lane, Inside the Tree, and the 12 Days of Christmas. This enchanting North Pole experience is an original production and is perfect for families looking to create unforgettable holiday memories.
Guest Appearance and Special Surprise
While on board, children write a letter to Santa, pouring out their hearts' desires. Plus, they get to see the North Pole Postmaster deliver the letter directly to Santa's mail box! And grownups. . .don't tell the kids, but the "man in red" is likely to make a guest appearance ON the train with a special conductor's whistle as a gift to each child.
Feel free to wear your favorite pajamas as you enjoy milk and cookies along the way. Prepare for an adventure unlike any other—one that will ignite your holiday spirit and create memories that will last a lifetime. Don't miss out on this cherished family tradition!
