Each performance features a unique theme, ensuring no two journeys are the same. Clues unravel and suspects emerge as you and your fellow passengers work together to solve the mystery before the final whistle blows! Will you crack the case or fall for the red herrings? There's only one way to find out.

The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's Oktoberfest Murder Mystery is an evening trip featuring great German brews, curated snacks, and murder. Just before the Stein-Holding Contest, beloved beer master Heinrich von Hopps is found dead in a giant stein! Was it a jealous brewer or a disgruntled vendor? Professional actors bring the story to life on board, planting clues across a lively autumn ride. Guests team up with their train car to trade theories and narrow down suspects before the journey ends. Traditional Oktoberfest attire and lederhosen are welcome, but not required.
