Do I need a ticket for my toddler?

Children under 2 years of age ride sitting on an adult’s lap ride for free. Carseats and strollers pose safety concerns and are not permitted on the train..

What happens if hazardous weather develops?

In the unlikely case that the North Pole Adventure™ cannot run due to weather or other extenuating factors, guests will be notified as soon as possible.

Are there any departures from Rockside Station in Independence?

Due to the track closure due to erosion on the northern portion of the route, the North Pole Adventure™ is only available from Akron Northside Station this year.

Are tickets refundable?

Because of the popularity of North Pole Adventure™ tickets are non-transferable. Also we are unable to refund or exchange tickets for a different date.

Do we get off the train at the North Pole?

Everyone stays on the train, keeping warm and cozy in our heated rail cars .

Are food and drinks available during North Pole Adventure?

Guests on the North Pole Adventure™ are served a cup of delicious hot chocolate and a tasty cookie. Additional concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase before and after your trip.

What should I wear to North Pole Adventure?

While there is no dress code for the North Pole Adventure™, guests are invited (and encouraged) to wear their pajamas on the train.

Is the train wheelchair accessible?

North Pole Adventure™ offers an accessible car with a lift for passengers with mobility issues. When selecting seats, choose from the ADA Coach Car and answer the prompts to secure your tickets.

My child has a food allergy. Can I bring my own cookie/hot chocolate?

Yes. If your child has a food allergy or dietary restriction, you may bring your own cookie or hot chocolate in a sealed container/cup. Please note: no other outside food is permitted on the train.

Cookie contains: eggs, milk, soy, wheat. Made in a a facility that processes peanuts and tree nuts.

Can I request to be seated on the North Pole side of the train?

No matter which side of the train you’re seated, all children will have the opportunity to view the North Pole.
