EXPLORE The Park!

There are so many activities to do, and the Ohio & Erie Canalway Towpath Trail and the Cuyahoga River conveniently runs parallel to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad train tracks.

Whether you’re biking, running, hiking or kayaking through the park, you can flag down and board the train at our Akron Northside, Botzum, Indigo Lake,  Peninsula, Boston Mills, Brecksville, Canal Exploration Center, or Rockside  stations throughout the day and ride back for a $5 one-way fee or by using your CVSR Explorer Pass when you board. Passengers are invited to take advantage of these one-way trips, once a day, every day the National Park Scenic is operating.

 We can load bikes and kayaks 40 lbs and under on the train
